To make a plan, you need a vision.
Lemonade Dreaming gives you the opportunity to remove all limits. There’s no need for your vision of the future to be completely realistic or achievable.
So, why would you bother?
The Benefits of Lemonade Dreaming
- Work from the bigger picture through to smaller details
- Create a snapshot of what’s important to you. A pattern of your values and priorities will soon become apparent.
- It’s a reminder of who and where you want to be.
- Lemonade Dreaming is a reminder of how far you’ve come. Our aims and dreams don’t remain static. You might be surprised at how much your interests and priorities change over time.
The Lemonade Dreaming Process
Set yourself a short period of time, 5-10 minutes is all it takes.
Note down all the things that you would like to have achieved in the allotted time periods.
The Lemonade Dreaming Layout is included at the beginning of the 3-Month Undated Planner, but you don’t have to limit yourself to one dreaming session every three months, and can download a fresh one whenever you like.
3-Month Undated Planner >Soon I Will Have
- ‘Soon’ is a different time period for everyone. It might be a few days, weeks, or through the duration of your current planner.
In a Few Months I Will Have
- In this section it’s tempting to keep your dreams to things that feel more achievable.
- You might be inspired to put some more focus on some of your projects and ambitions that have already been started.
In a Few Years I Will Have
- Once we start looking a few years in advance, our dreams become more ambitious. After all, who knows what you might achieve in time with all your hard work and perseverance?
Before I Die I Will Have
- Here is where we might see some really lofty ideas.
- Those that are more important to us will give us the motivation to break them down into smaller chunks to achieve sooner.
- Your lifetime goals may just inform your daily habits and routines.
Tips For Success
Reward Yourself
- Check in on yourself and review your progress at least at the end of every 3-month period.
- Mark off the things that you have achieved and acknowledge your progress.
Start Fresh
- The Lemonade Dreaming layout is included every three months in the planner to keep you feeling motivated and fresh.
- Complete it before or after you review your previous Lemonade Dreaming. Some are inspired by the progress already made, while others will prefer not to be influenced by what's already been before making their new list.
